I was in tirupati few years back (2018) roughly. I can assure you, there are so many rice bag workers. And hooligans teasing ladies on the way. These were young 19+ yrs kids trying to throw fruits at my cousin sister. She was walking ahead with younger cousins looking around. I was with my elderly relatives helping them walk. Me and my cousins caught them, we were stopped by my elders asking it's a holy place and they didn't want to shed blood or tears. And was cheated by a random hotel staff they charged one amount when the price of the idlis were something else. Tirupathi is full of scammers. There was a random person who whispered something with my dad. Dad was furious and chased him away. He did not tell what it was, but. He was furious for 2 days. I wish It could return back to its glory. We should have strict standards for the workers and people entering the temple atmosphere.
