one of the most underrated anime of all time. strange how meta the response was, as audiences were too superficial to appreciate the rotoscoping as well as the extensive and prolonged mood-setting scenes. masterful plot, screenplay, art and music. there are only handfuls of japanese animations that can boast this overall quality. the work did have its faults though. but it is a shame they are finding difficulty funding season 2.
