Akule Bait Balls are Back! - Kona, Hawaii

They are back!! After several years of not really having any bait balls in Kona (at least none that had any real size to them), we finally had one hanging around Kailua Bay for a while. Swimming in the middle of millions of fish is so exhilarating! There were greater amberjacks (aka Kahala or Kampachi) herding the fish from the bottom and rainbow runners hanging out above the bait ball.
