Actually some people do play world tour mode but they only just get new moves from dlc characters emotes and mostly knowing some lore from the characters can't to hear some stuff about akuma in this mode

Thanks to WT, we now know Ryu is secretly loaded thsnks to tournament wins, that Ken manages his finances, Chun chooses clothes for him, he still hangs out with Retsu, and he has trouble using modern tech. We got to know more about him as a character in WT than in the past 35 years of SF games combined.

It's possible the WT and Avatar stuff is by far and away the more successful and profitable part of the game. I hope if it isn't they pivot to more content for the actual fighting game next season, but if it is things won't change.

I mean, it's the only thing they're basically monetizing at this point. The only other thing besides characters are the extra costumes (overpriced)

@@tyrant_uk The bizarre part is they know fighting game players will buy costumes because of SFV. So this stuff is either making bank or it was pre-planned for season 1 and they are yet to adjust.
