An exciting film that combines the genres of action, adventure and family movies. A 1965 Ukrainian Soviet feature film directed by Yevgeny Sherstobitov, based on the book of the same name at the Oleksandr Dovzhenko Kyiv Film Studio of Feature Films. The film was released in the RSFSR in 1965 with Ukrainian dubbing by the Dovzhenko Film Studio.
The film was very popular among teenagers and was remembered by the phrases “Hands up!”, “Why did you hit me in the stomach? Maybe I have appendicitis!”, “I spit on Shaggy!”.
An adventure film is being filmed in a coastal village near the border. The director of the picture asks to find a good fin from local teenagers to help in the work. Romka Marchenko, as the best, was invited as an understudy for the lead actor. The boy gladly accepts the offer to act in films. On the first day of filming, Romka noticed the footprint of the border trespasser on the beach and reported it. The film crew together with the boy decides to help the law enforcement agencies to detain the criminal.

The city of Sudak was chosen as a location for filming, and some scenes were filmed in Novy Svet. Although according to the scenario, the city is called Primorsky. At first they wanted to call the film "The Case in Rybachy".
