I’m no expert however I did read about the US copyright office is that you CANNOT yet copyright any works produced with these AI sites/apps/engines due to the fact that you cannot control the outcome of the content. When you use an AI engine it produces different content every time and it is unpredictable whether it pertains to video, photo, music or literature. Serious creators be careful when thinking of incorporating AI into your works.

@@BLEURZZI honestly I’m not sure, if I’m understanding the source info it wouldn’t matter if you created the AI or not. Last I read the U.S. copyright office said AI “generators/apps” are unpredictable with the art they produce therefore it cannot be copy written. Maybe if you were able to prove you can 100% control the outcome of your work, then that’s a possibility. I would do some research though before seriously using it on a project. Makes me question the intro to Marvels “secret invasion” because it incorporates AI.

@@Theonlylobe ​ yeah but I feel like this law is still in the 'building' stage since this whole AI thing moves way too fast, so they can't possibly have all the answers for every scenarios right now, which makes it fairly easy to find 'loop holes' and get away with it (Disney and other companies probably did that). So if we go back to my example about the custom AI that was trained by my own copyrighed work, the outcome of the AI will always originate from my initial copyrighted work and not the work of someone else, so in all logic they should be able to let this scenario slide. But in the context of the tutorial (using a random AI that you don't have control over) you would be right about not using it in our professional projects.

So I figured out that the results u can get depends heavily on the type of video. For example I couldn't even get a skeleton effect until I used a clip that was very low lit. Hope this helps someone!
