For those of us who love the Blues and all that means, Bonnie Raitt has been the keeper of the flame since the late Sixties. She has shined the spotlight on all the forefathers and mothers of the Blues from the beginning as well as on John Prine and so many other songwriters that only "we" knew about. Add to that her slide laying , voice and spirit and plain toughness and she is The Queen of The Blues.

Anyone listening to Al Green in 2025? If you want to talk about love, talk to… Al Green. After all, in the glow of the 1970s, no soul singer knew how to combine the energetic explosion of the rhythm so well with the romantic lines he wrote. As one of the most brilliant voices in soul, the artist has mastered the art of making and performing romantic hits! Time when songs touched hearts... true feelings...❤ Let's enjoy this moment!

Fantastic! Al is incomparable, as always. Bonnie is no surprise on guitar-she’s probably better on slide than anyone else today except Derek Trucks. What blew me away most was the other guitarist, who plays the song’s signature, single-string lick. That’s Teenie Hodges! From Willie Mitchell’s Hi Records! He played it on the original 50 years ago!
