Al was "So Good"...1991 was my wedding song...my husband hired a 5 piece band who never heard the song, the nailed it after two weeks of practice. My husband passed 13 yrs ago now but this song still brings me back, memories and joy. Thanks Al... you continue to touch hearts and souls. Miss you.

Jarreau (mike drop).!!! I took my four-year-old daughter and ten-year-old son to see Jarreau at a seaside concert the summer of '96 at Coney Island. We stood on the sidewalk near the amphitheater and watched this brother mesmerize the audience. He sang, scatted, and amused us for almost three hours. They became Jarreau fans that evening.

He was the best. I had the pleasure and honor of seeing him twice in concert. Once in The former Garden State Art Center, then at the Nokia theater in the City. He put on a great show. RIP Sir, Love ❤

So nice of you to share such musical excellence with your kids. My mother got me into Jarreau when I was 13. The song was “Mornin.” From that song each time a Jarreau album came out we would go to the record store and buy the cassette or CD as time went and we would listen on the way home. To this day my most cherished CDs in my collection are the Al Jarreau ones.

People don't share their feelings enough..they leave each other thinking things that are not really the way they were. If they just come together and talk..so many times the things they thought weren't at all the way they felt..can go years living hurt and miserable..all they had to do was just reach out. Years, hurt, bad feelings never had to be.
