For people who have good ears for awesome music, it's difficult to not stop by and listen some more...

This is what I mean, an example of a new generation of new musicians who take the instrument they play to a level that appeals to the ear of the previous generation. They knew how to listen and learn to no longer be a copy of another's style. 🤘🤘🤘🤘

I'm thinking there's a change under foot. Why would we rate? I never heard of Al until the things I had listened to on YT, rabbit hole, led me to his Jam Track and here I am. Another phenomenal artist. It's not shred simply because you can but tasteful playing within the context of imaginative songs! Way to go Al I look forward to hearing more. I enjoy listening to music that has feeling and causes me to know what the artist felt/feels through the song.

This is seriously underrated. This is so much like a follow-up album on Suspended Animation by John Petrucci. Everything is there: the melody, the hardness, the technique, and these unique catchy melodies with a touch of mystery. I like this very much!

Easily one of the most enjoyable instrumental albums I've listened to in a long time. Great songwriting, fantastic tone, wonderful phrasing, impeccable technique, Al Joseph has the complete package. I bought this record on itunes and I hope it does well because it certainly deserves to. Discovered Al a few years back on Jamtrack Central and he's become one of my favorite guitar players for sure. Awesome effort here Al!

Man, I have to say I really dig your playing. "Night Lights" first caught my attention, but as I dig further into your catalog I'm loving your style and songs, I can hear so many influences (Petrucci, Satch, etc.), but at the same time, very uniquely your own. Keep kickin' ass man, you are phenomenal!

Your touch for the guitar and approach to music is filled with passion and emotion. Within 1 minute of listening to the intro to "Shift" I got a smile on my face! Thank you for your music, it is certainly unique and wonderful!

Great album. it's difficult to distinguish yourself from so many players now who have a huge technical toolkit and a very fluent grasp of prog rock/metal idioms, but I feel like you've done it here! I'll be listening to this a bunch, and I wish for you nothing but continued success!

Dude, I just found out about you from a friend of mine to who introduced me to Hyvmine. First of all, you are a killer player and an excellent song writer. And lastly, your lead tones are on point! Keep up the killer work, man!
@garudacustomguitars29406 жыл бұрын
I know you are running Laney heads, but what kind of ODs or Distortion pedals are you using in the studio? I know that Kemper and AxeFX make some killer digital stuff, but I love the sound of air moving around a cab in the studio. But I was just curious as to what you were using to beef up that lead tone or if it's coming straight for your amp?

Ninjanomikz Keep in mind that I did not say thr album was a flop. It is worth listening too YES I agree! And I will give the whole thing another listen for sure. May be that I personally am in a Spyro Gryra season......just one of those things I quess. Um I subscribed because this guy here fits my Surfing With The Aliens mood. AJ KILLS IT AS WELL. I prefer rock, jazz, r&b without lyrics. Peace be with you. Rock on.
@maggievada47977 жыл бұрын
Ninjanomikz HEY I listened with headphones as I could hear ALL the elements now opposed to mobile phone air......anyways that bumps it up to a B+ for me. I just moved into a new apartment and can't krank the music when I had the house. He changes directions in a composition several times that makes it exciting. REAL FINE.
