Still loving the podcast. Just to add to the debate about the SM57, they are not all the same which is probably why there is some disagreement about them. I have a vintage Shure Unidyne III (used to have 3 of them, but they became valuable!) and that has a totally different frequency response to a modern SM57 and is very sought after because of it.

Very Cool Episode. When I was at Audio School in Minneaoplis back in 2011, There was Platinum and Gold Engineers and Producers ( Still Active Today), Every one of them where most kind and understanding people (Some of them worked with Prince). One of them that has to many Credits to his name, just uses a mouse and keyboard for his mixing and mastering. I think he was one of the first around that time to be so successful with ITB Techniques. Anyway, I love to hear about stories and experience from like minded people. 👍

What I noticed with non Apple earbuds is that they sound different on my Iphone than on my Mac while both play on Apple Music. So they definitely do something different with different devices. Can you guys tell me what song to listen to on Apple earbuds that could convince me about the binaural stuff, because I didn’t had an aha moment yet. Great podcast guys 👍🏼

I wonder did Bob Clearmountain happen to say "these are not the mix moves you think they are?" 😁 Hey Paul if you want to run "batch" jobs in RX you can open the batch script by typing "ctrl+b" when RX opens (ie. blank screen before loading files/project)

Tip for growing the channel: If you have only ten main comments on a video it would take not much effort to react on those comments. Unless it’s just not important to you guys.

Depends on if we can answer the question at the time, who reads the comment, if it's something we can respond to, and IF we want to respond to it… I think we both try our best to respond where applicable.

There's difficult and there's actually difficult I think is threw point of clients... don't just be a hard ass but if someone is bad news in the long run then nope... I've just seen a lot of that unfort lol.. just a knob head, well, if they are kind enough to actually act like a nob end rather than act like your best friend, that's actually easier lol... you don't want weird immature grip people around you... openly grip, that again is much easier lol

Apple VR has been such a monumental failure that they might end up pushing a lot less for spacial audio/atmos

I think you misunderstand. At £3500 it cannot be a success, it’s an experiment.

AI has it place in productivity of prep and basic tasks... it's the type of applications that you don't see companies making.. instead it's nonsense stuff mostly... I'd like one that you clip things from KZbin like telling it to collect all the clips someone says a particular phrase or anything,... that's just a task I wish to do now... and pointless to spend weeks doing that when AI can get it done over night
