money does not grow on trees instead money in the long run is irreparably damaged by the destruction of forests and yet sustainable tree growing and felling certainly can mean money grows on trees and cultures where money is grown is most certainly dependant on access to all the varieties of forests for their continued growth. Temperature zones tend to be more profitable as compared to desert, mountainous, or artic regions. Easter island was profitable to the natives until their trees were no more leading to their eventual unwitting genocide or as i call it geogenocide.
