Orphalese, a unique cultural event in Australia on the occasion of Kahlil Gibran's centenary of The Prophet (1923). It included songs written by Gibran, short poetry readings in English and Arabic from The Prophet, in addition to songs from the Arab world written by various composers. Supported by the Discipline of Arabic Language & Cultures, The University of Sydney.
