Al Rubban "The Captain" Boat Factory Tour in Dubai (Center Console)

Center Consoles in Dubai are popular for fisherman and recreational boaters in the Middle East. Today we visit the Al Rubban Boat factory and walk with Otteran and he shows us all his models in production. The price of these boats are about half the cost of a comparable boat in the States. Keep in mind shipping cost would probably effect the total cost considerably .

Thank you for posting this video. It is always very interesting to see how companies are making boats these days. I remember watching a video how Fleming Yachts had their start, how one man's vision and experience came to fruition and that's what we see here not to mention how it creates jobs. Looking at their pricing in USD, it sure is very attractive (not that I can afford it) pricing because, as he mentioned: Completely with the engines.

I did the conversion and if u top that 32 footer out with options, he said it could go up to 350,000 dirhams. I would do that in a heartbeat because that amount equals $95,421 U.S. dollars. We can’t get a 32 foot boat over here for under $100k. And then even if u had to pay $50,000 dirhams to get it shipped over here that would take the total to $109,053 U.S. dollars. U still can’t get a 32ft boat over here of that quality for under $110k!!! That is absolutely unreal!! Shows u that they are gouging us to death over here in the U.S.!!!!

Awesome awesome video big man!! And it’s crazy that boats are pretty much built the same way across the world!! And the stringer system in that 40 looked beefy as hell!! And I absolutely love Otteran’s 30 footer!! There is no way we can get a 30 footer over here of that quality for that amount of money and plus they are very very good looking boats!!! Was that your wife or one of your kids with the other camera? I tried catching the person in one of your shots but couldn’t get it lmao!! Great job as usual brother!!!

Love it or hate it...this definitely the future of boating, building boats in a different country with cheaper labor and less regulation. Then selling them in the U.S for a great price like that the avg family can afford a new boat again. Won't be surprise if we see a Al Rubban at a miami sandbar in the next couple of years. I wonder what resin they're using. I'm used to seeing a redish tint in all modern boats that use polyester resin. I can't imagine they're using epoxy because that would be way too expensive.
