Malaysia's Al-Sultan Abdullah ended his five-year reign as King on Jan 30, with Sultan Ibrahim of Johor set to ascend the throne on Jan 31. As Melissa Goh reports, Sultan Abdullah's reign has been both eventful and memorable for Malaysia.

You must have meant peninsula malaya and malaysia. 5 states in the north which are Perlis , Kedah , Pahang , Kelantan and Terengganu are land which were succeeded to the British by the Siam Kingdom, a few other states are discoveries by the British. That is the reason the grant of independence by the British to peninsula malaya and malaysia are conditional and the sultans are only constitutional. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Good riddance that is a very corrupt constitutional sultan from Pahang. He shall be remembered as the Musang durian plantation robber who robbed the non Muslims Chinese farmers of their decades of efforts and handwork when the trees bear much fruits . He purposely in collusion with the state abdooo malay government refused land permits and sold the land despite the farmers long applications and already worked in the farm . Any claimed he subsequently compensated the farms are bull as he should not even start the stealing including using plain clothes army to threatened the civilians non Muslims Chinese Malaysian farmers and barred them from going into their plantation to collect durians , an income very necessary as it was during the severe Covid lockdowns.

Corrupt? Are those farmers had any legal documentation that they can plant in that land in the first place? Those are forest reserved that have been violated out of control. They have benefited the land and become riches. If you to stated the Sultan from Pahang is corrupt, im surely you are ready to be pickup by PDRM at anytime.

those durian farmers were planting durians on government lands illegally. but of course, they won't tell people that or admit that what they did was wrong. those farmers are basically land thieves. why don't you open up your house or land for them and let them rake profit out of your land for free, not paying you anything. you must be the generous one.
