He wasnt maintaining, they were broke and severely in debt and in the show they barely ate, and rarely went out. Still paying minimum payments 20 years after racking up a mortgage and car bill, 20 years ago when the loan was cheaper. You can do all that now, if you want.

The best part of this show is that even though they constantly insult each other and act like they don’t love each other, they actually do love each other. The entire Bundt family is dysfunctional but still love. If u watch the show a lot , there r a lot of episodes where they do nice things for each other and look out for each other. Peg and Al have both had numerous opportunities to cheat on each other but they never do. Kelly and Bud also had each others back.
