Al Wala Wal Bara: Love and Hate for Allah's Sake, is a very misunderstood or neglected topic in our times. On the left side extreme you have Muslims who don’t know anything about this important issue and take non-Muslims as their awliyah. They love kufr and the way of life of the disbelievers. On the right side extreme you have Muslims who hate everything about non-Muslims and are destroying the da’wah to Allah because of their public hatred. Islam is a balanced way of life, neither extreme to the left nor extreme to the right. Allah has clearly mentioned in the Qur’an that the believers should not take the disbelievers as their awliyah. The confusion lies in what it means to take someone as awliyah, and how to stand firm in the belief without compromising Islam when living in the West. In this lecture Abdur-Raheem Green explains the concept of Al Wala Wal Bara in a very simple way that everyone can understand and appreciate in sha Allah.

Al Wala Wal Bara: Kjærlighet og hat for Allahs skyld, er et svært misforstått eller neglisjert tema i vår tid. På den ekstreme høyresiden har du muslimer som hater alt ved ikke-muslimer og ødelegger da'wahen til Allah på grunn av deres offentlige hatspredning. Islam er en balansert livsstil, verken ekstrem til venstre eller ekstrem til høyre. Allah har klart og tydelig nevnt i Koranen at de troende ikke skal ta de ikke-troende som deres awliyah. Forvirringen ligger i hva det vil si å ta noen som awliyah, og hvordan holde fast i troen uten å gjøre kompromiss med islam når du bor i Vesten.
