Loved the turkey series, but this place in particular stands out as a place you both appear to have really enjoyed, food looks amazing!

Nice video. Some historical background to these places. Alaçati, as well as Çeşme and Eski Foça are old Greek towns whose beautiful old stone houses, churches and windmills, as well as citrus fruit trees and mastic gum (brought over from the Greek island of Chios) were all built and established by Greek people under Ottoman rule. Unfortunately the Greek people who created these towns, architecture and industries were forced to leave their homes in the early part of the twentieth century. No surprise why it feels like Greece then.

Just went pretty quiet and no dolmus just 1 but was still pretty .. reminded me of Ibiza.. beautiful hidden beaches..some I could get to ..was based in Cesme try saglik plaji totally unspoilt.. yes agree about no info re from Izmir or back but caught that Cesme bus easily to Izmir..now in Sanliurfa .. Alicati is for chilling with a drink..It s an expensive area for jetsetters but all very lovely. ..prices are much higher right now because of currency dive in Turkey. Illica beach was wonderful too..

Hi guys! Great video! Love the sights around Ilica beach. So gorgeous. Justina is hilariously cute. Picking up the sand to show the sand, pebbles and cigarette butt. No need to touch the cigarette butt Justina, ok? Lol! I have a similar taste to Justina. A Kumru sandwich, coke and a bowl of pickles. That's a winner! See you in the next one! 👋😎

I think Alacati downton has excellent nightlife options, but if you are not into that, then maybe don’t go to those areas in the evenings?

Unfortunately alcohol is taxed quite high in Turkey while cigarettes aren't taxed at all. It should really be the other way around.
