You had me in tears with this one. Thank you so much. I love the group Alabama. I was a nurse for about 20 years before I head to medically retire in 2011 due to young-onset Parkinson's. Now I minister to Young Army Wives. It makes our lives so much better when we help others. Thanks for shining the light!

One of my cousins, who passed away a few years ago, had a motto for life: "It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice." The only time we should look down on someone else is when we are reaching down to give them a hand up.

Song makes me think of all the great people who have passed through my life. People who have always made me better. Especially a teacher of mine growing up, she literally saved me from myself. Helped me to become the man I am today. She had me star in drama classes, needless to say she is definitely one of my angels. Her name is Shannon Franco also known as Sunny on KVOO in Tulsa. Love you Mrs. Franco.

I’ve known this song for years, but never saw the video till now. It has me in tears. We ARE ALL capable of being an angel to others! We all have different attributes to bless others. You are right. There is no better of a feeling than to know that you have had a positive impact on someone! Being a hero doesn’t require any super powers! The smallest gesture of kindness can have a significant impact on others!

Thank you so much for what you said after the song. If people cared as much for others as they do animals, this world would be a better place. I'm not saying you shouldn't care about animals, just help fix our species first! I know that people can be mean, hateful, arrogant and downright rude, but that simply tells me they need kindness and compassion. I'll never get to a point where I've given up on people!

One of my family’s fave songs! I love the hope conveyed in these lyrics. I agree that is so sad how people treat each other. We should always attempt to see the best in others. Song was written by a Becky Hobbs after she had a heavenly experience warning her of her possible impending death. The next day her band's van avoided a certain tragedy because she saw they were going to pull out in front of another vehicle and gave the driver a warning in time to save their lives. The words to this song felt as if they were given to her.

you should look up brother and sister duo from the 70's The Carpenters....they were very popular and have many songs that are classics like "superstar", "close to you" and her version of" a song for you". Her voice is so unique, clear and beautiful and the harmonies with her brother are wonderful. she died at the height of their career from anorexia at only 32 years old in 1983 ....very sad story.
