The number of players we've lost in the portal this year is astounding. It's hard for me to get behind players that we are recruiting anymore. I used to anticipate signing day, but not anymore. Roll Tide, anyway.

In the SEC Alabama is a part of the market. In the big ten Ohio state sets the market that’s the difference. The SEC doesn’t have wiggle room. The big ten does they have wiggle room. For getting a team ready for the playoffs.

Every team is in the same spot starting after tonight. Alabama goes back to having just as good as chance to do great and just as much chance to do terrible as any other team. My opinion. GA will be our Mt. Olympus, but we beat them this year, and totally did terrible this year.

You’re not seeing the big picture this is not a level playing field. The southern states are poor compared to the northern states. It always has been the NiL is doing exactly what it was intended to do not the SEC out of the championship the south cannot compete dollar for dollar for these players and these eggheads know this you just ain’t figured it out yet

I said all year that success on the field would determine future success in recruiting. Alabama was below average by their standards. Getting somebody like Johnson out of Ohio would be surprising.

Can THE TIDE be elite in 2025? *No matter the narrative,your QB must play at a VERY GOOD,to Elite, level. He may not be an elite NFL prospect,or guy down the road. But he has to be terrific in his play week to week,something,of course, Alabama's QB this past season was not anywhere near...In fact,he was as bad in as MANY ways as I have EVER seen. There are reasons why he did NOT take care of the football,make absolutely no effort to be physical and make a damn tackle against SOONER after the pick,and all the sickening,phony,performative "Leadership" he was allowed to showcase.I would be shocked if Simpson is the answer. In fact,I believe he is gone after Spring. *THE TIDE has to be better upfront on both sides of the ball. MUCH better. Average,to below average, and even poor will not cut it,and that is exactly what Pritchett,Roberts,Vandemark,Formby,Keenan,LTO,Russaw,Robinson,Tim Smith,+Payne were. Booker+ Proctor had their moments.Neither were outstanding.Brailsford was,as was James Smith at times.... *The TE production was abysmal in reality. Lacked athleticism,and spent way too much time in 12 personnel for what we actually got out of Rob O+Dippre. Unless we get a guy after Spring,and/or MPritchett,Glasses,and Lindsay pan out and pan out early? This room will be a problem. *The WR room could be pretty good with the additions of Horton+Bak,and the return to health of Hale+Adams...Some big ifs...But you would be surprised how much quality QB play can help your WR room.. *Obviously the RB room was average to poor...We have had 1 addition by subtraction,and played add-on with a MUCH MORE talented guy. Probably need 1 more such transaction,and hope that Dear+Riley are ready to show some juice. Obviously with the issues of playing on the road that cannot be denied based on last season? .....8-4 would not be surprising...Might be on the optimistic side unless the majority of the rooms I mentioned show tremendous improvement. Just facts......

They will all show improvements this upcoming season, it was a new offensive system and a new defensive system that was put in place. I’m gonna have to disagree about Ty Simpson leaving in the spring. We will be a lot better this upcoming season than we were this past season.

The same guys who said SMU didn’t beat anyone this past year are now saying FSU will be a tough game. Disappointed in Jimmy because he should know better. Luke is a totally different story.
