This defense reminded me a lot of the 92-93 defense when they won the natty under Gene Stallings. Straight up hateful, inhumanly athletic, smart, you name it. I will say it seemed like they lost a bit of their identity when Eddie Jackson got hurt. Still, in my opinion, one of the best defenses of all time

In my eyes , the defense did their job this year.. offense scored off of QB runs and RB runs.. we weren't deadly with our passing game and definitely overthrew alot of passes during the championship game.

Great compilation of Defense with Awesome background music. Gracias, King Gosa! This was a great season and I yelled and pulled for them all season that year. My family and I are huge Tide fans. Saban really turned this team around when he arrived and we're all grateful. My daughter-in-law graduated from there. When they lose a game, I do not scream foul but say, the "other team won fair and square." This 2020/21 season, we won fair and square. A couple of close games, but we won at the end. This is the 2016 team. Stat wise they were better in 2017 and won the Natty. Both years they lead the nation in allowed PTS/G = 11.8. 2nd in nation total defense. Led by Jeremy Pruitt. Impressive. Pruitt should have stayed put.

King Gosa Scary exciting. No one will ever truly understand how good this defense was... 3 1st round picks, 2 2nd round picks a pick a piece In 3rd and 4th rounds. Just last year on that defense! And 2 more will go in the first round (that played last year), with more following this year. Which puts this defense potentially having 5-6 first rounders in all.... scary!
