Not really. He is certainly the main reason we lost the 3 games we lost, with the most obvious being Oklahoma, but he’s one of the main reasons we won some of the other games. When he was in the mood he was hard to beat and when he wasn’t it looked like he was trying to lose.

It’s very rare for a freshman QB to come in and lead a team to the national championship game. If Milroe doesn’t return who do yall geniuses think will lead us to the championship game next year? Milroe only played one year in DeBoer’s system. He’ll play much better in it next year if he returns. Over at UGA their QBs have played under the same coaches for 3-4 years straight. Milroe has eight more touchdowns this season than last season and 1.3 more yards per carry. But Milroe will be drafted to play quarterback, not running back.

Well, I am a huge Jalen fan! I think he is going to NFL. JMO. I hate reading all the terrible comments from others. Idk if these are BAMA fan or who they are, but I realize Jalen hasn't been perfect, but no one is. Also, he is not the person to blame on our 3 losses. He runs the plays the coach gives him, and what do you expect him to do when our OL doesn't block for him very well sometimes, and he has 3 or 4 250 -350 lb guys charging at him. Milroe needs to step aside and let Ty play. I want to see what we have for next year. Milroe lost the Tenn and OKl games, and it’s time to move on. The team needs a true QB and not a RB. Milroe is a good athlete! He didn’t win a natty but look at the change he has dealt with…..A CHANGE IN HEAD COACH. I believe a lot of people don’t consider the impact of that nearly enough.(and the O-line and everyone else on the team is just as affected) 2 HCs with completely different ways of approaching the game 🏈 Milroe is still the only BAMA player to consistently yell Roll Tide at the cameras. I love that about him. But he hasn’t been able to take the snap, then yawn & stretch while waiting for a receiver to get open, like McElroy and McCarron did. He has the athletic ability to enter the draft, but technically he’s not ready.

Question for Bama nation. Should Alabama go after Mailk Murphy in the transfer portal? I am expecting Jalen Milroe to either transfer or go to the NFL. If so, Bama will have little to no experience at QB. Is Ty Simpson good enough to lead this Bama team? We have a tiny sample size of his potential. Malik Murphy is a proven QB who will distribute the ball and is not looking to be a running QB. Just something to think about, especially if Bama is looking at winning NOW!!!

Ty Simpson is a great. Nobody would beat out Milroe he has to much freakish athleticism. And if he could learn to put 4 qts of being a consistent qb nobody would come close to bama. Only one player that Simpson would sit for and he is leaving. Simpson is the number 2 qb in his class. Hes a 5 star that looks like a 5 star. Do people not see the drives when he comes in the run game opens up because people are scared of his passing ability. He can run and throw, he can put it where it needs to be. If he messes up it’s usually outside of the defender reach as well.
