Alabama football got some (kinda, we assume) unexpected great news today in the commitment of Justin Hill from Ohio. The Tide certainly loves having this new 'Wolf' candidate on the commit list! Meanwhile, Bama did lose a couple of pledges, but Jimmy and Luke will tell you why this is not necessarily awful news. Finally, it is Ty Simpson Day on the roster countdown! Yea DeBoer and co. have moved on from Myles Johnson! He blew out his knee last season and missed the entire year so this staff only has sophomore tape to go on. I think Saban liked him as a player but this staff has been really successful at recruiting this cycle so Myles’ spot isn’t gonna be available imo.

Justin Hill wants to a blitzing LB behind 3-man DL. Zion Grady wants to be a Pass Rushing DE in 4-man front. They are both excellent players who did what’s best for them.

You are "Kind of confused",as far as The Swarm concepts,schemes,techniques,and alignments... You need to study up some on what the Wolf's responsibilities are. You are "somewhat correct" on Grady,but the Coaches reasons for NOT pursuing him has ALL to do with Fit+Scheme. Again,study what the Wolf is under CKW's 4-2-5 scheme.THEN take a good look at the Bandit,and what his responsibilities and techniques will be. And preferred size. Grady is not/was NOT a fit for THE TIDE at either. He is NOWHERE near the football player Keon Keeley is and Keon is finding this out as we speak. And Grady is nowhere near the football player that Hill is either. Hill is a versatile,young,player who can/could also play as an off the ball ILB in the 4-2-5. Remember that. Easily the premier defensive player in ohio,and maybe the entire midwest.

So what if we lost those two commits they were probably the the lowest ranked commits on the team with Zymear Smith who was 11th or 12th in the athlete rankings and Myles Johnson was at the bottom of the list as in terms of the loaded class of linebackers we have honestly I felt like both of them were going to leave anyway because they wouldn't have gotten playing time and it will open up room for other recruits. Alabama will probably get Ty Jackson as well. And Zymear & Myles are three stars they weren't real big time recruits and it certainly didn't affect Alabama's ranking I respect the fact that they decommitted and they want to go somewhere else and I wish them the best of luck . and it just opens up for another Edge rusher which they need , also another defensive tackle or defensive end which they need and then of course Ty Haywood and Caleb Cunningham. An AK 🦌, RB. In Alabama probably needs to get another safety I know that the other Smith who is an athlete and is committed to Alabama is coming to be a safety but still we need to pick up somebody else it would be nice if we could get Fagan's to lean away from Southern Cal or Auburn. Enough of this BS about Ty Simpson dropping the ball on the goal line in what was the longest run of the season despite he only had 20 in-game snaps the entire year. That's a typical rookie mistake that is never repeated. Nobody ever mentions the two inexcusable 3rd down sacks Milroe took in the SEC championship turning 2 easy field goals into 50yards each that miraculously "Will the thrill" made. Those are also rookie mistakes (just like rookie Tua made before the 2nd and 26) "EXCPT" Jalen did 2x in the same game after 13 starts! Not to mention the 1st half, 3rd down sissy slide 3 yards before sticks he also made in the same game.

Sounds like you have some underlying issues with Jalen’s race. Alabama beat the #1 team and you are griping about Milroe? They never win the SECC without Milroe. And the 50 yard FGs were against Michigan so you seem to have Biden-like cognition. And yes, dropping the ball early to showboat is STUPID & selfish and deserves criticism.

Dropping the ball at the goal is not a typical rookie mistake, especially for the son of a coach. It was a selfish & dumb move as any informed fan knows. Milroe would never do that because he is all team. Given the terrible snaps all year makes the SECC & playoff berth all the more remarkable. Saban saved his best coaching job for last.
