I'm sure i was subbed here, am now anyway , self feeding hopper , trommel running nicely , nice clean tailings , all working very stable , one thing i did notice on the cleanup 17.00 notice the bare section in front of the wingnut, why is that happening ? , over all very cool setup , thanks for sharing.

Alabama gold camp was a disappointment for me, not much gold in the pan. It’s about 5 miles from my brother’s house so it would have been a nice family outing, but there’s just no payoff there.

As you saw we didn’t really recover much ourselves from Alabama gold camp, however it was still an amazing fun time just getting to enjoy time outdoors .At least you were able to enjoy some family time my friend, that’s where the real gold resides in our families. How much of a pitch do you set that trommel at?

The trommel is preset at about 1-1/2 to 2 degrees the sluice is at 8degree

@@Rockymountainprospector i did alabama gold camp this summer. they charge 5-10 bucks to enter the place and the gold is spotty but its a pretty yellow. my phone reset so i lost all the footy for a youtube video. better to pan in talladega national forest or near alex city. someone found a 2 ounce nugget out in the residentual areas
