The only reason Bama was in such a ridiculous position was because of the refs. Two snaps before this one of the Auburn defenders clapped which caused Seth to snap the ball before Jalen was ready. Should've been a penalty on Auburn but it wasn't called.

& he should've been the one who applied pressure to the QB! He could've easily made an attempt to make things a lil harder. Whoever was running the defensive side of things really messed up with that call. All they had to do was make the QB get the ball out fast, a 4 man rush would've at least made the pocket collapse & that's all they really needed to happen

Against that 2 man Auburn pressure, Milroe could still be standing out there looking for an open receiver. James was shadowing Bond the entire play and never lost sight of him, except for the 2 fatal steps forward he took while the ball was in the air. Milroe threw a great ball when it counted, but this was an epic collapse by the Tiger defense.
