Days offense in NOT built around what Urban did.....Urban brought a zone read offense where his quarterbacks were runners first and passers second, that didn't start to change until Day came in (they won a Natty because Cardale Jones was a pass first qb, when Barrett went down, and oh by the way Zeke had his best games under that forced change). Under Day in last three years, his QB's do not run, even if they have the ability (CJ Stroud).

He played in the weakest Division in Louisiana HS Football, Never competed against like competition, avoided every Nation Event there was, only threw for coaches behind closed doors...yet was given..yes, GIVEN the #1 overall ranking and by some the "best" HS prospect in decades (which was designated to Quinn Ewers the year before) based on his last name...and Genetics'...but if we are taking DNA, his daddy had a degenerative neck that ended his career early, his uncle Peyton had a degenerative neck...so lets factor in all the "DNA or genetics". Plus having Uncles who were probably more focused on leading their respective teams to the Super Bowl than they were of mentoring their Nephew doesn't equal Best Ever status. Jeremiah Smith has an Uncle in Geno Smith and when asked how often they played catch JS said hardly ever because he was busy being an NFL QB. I'm so over the slurping of Arch Manning!!! He has single handedly made every recruiting service unreliable. If he isn't the #1 draft pick when he comes out everybody claiming him to be so great needs to be fired and or retire from talking football...period!!
