I discovered this band (or rather Brittany) while watching Austin City Limits on PBS one night and I haven't stopped listening to them since. The fact that Brittany was sharing the stage with Bonnie Raitt (a true blues legend) and Sheryl Crow told me right away that she was special. I saw them live in Athens, Ga. a month ago and in exactly 1 more month I will see them at the Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville. To say I can't wait is a gross understatement-this band, quite simply, was ordained to be together and it's obvious they love what they do. Not since Janis have I seen a singer who leaves 100% of her soul on every stage she sets foot on-that's a very refreshing thing to see these days, where most live shows are all about production value to enhance a band's perceived talent. With Alabama Shakes, the talent speaks for itself...stay true guys and keep on rockin'!!

Alabama Shakes is going to be considered one of the legendary bands of all times in the years to come. Their legacy will transcend many generations. I'm confident this will happend.

The track is called Seminole Wind by a country Artist called John Anderson. The song was big in the early 90's on country stations.

I just found about this group 3 weeks ago, they were on Austin City Limits, and SNL on the same night, and was blown away! Wow, simple, and wonderful. Brittany has a very refreshing voice, she's unique, yet familiar. I haven't had a favourite group in what, 15 years, and now they are it! Hope you make it up here in Quebec, during our numerous summer festivals. Please play at "The Mont Trembant Bues Fest" You'll love it here, voted best eastern ski resort in North America, go to their si

it is in sum spots, it's probably a combination of the 2, i tried my best to sync things, bet the Kodak Zi8 pocket cam i used, has sum sort of an issue when it films 4 long periods of time, it will speed up abit for a split second and then resume back to normal... The audio is from another device i had and is NOT the audio from the cam.. i did my best to find all the spastic parts in the video itself and cut n splice the audio to match up when trying to over lay the audio (very time consuming!)
