String Bean Rick James Looking Fool he has a cannon. But so many times he’s late on the pass or bails On the play so early he misses chances at big plays. He plays great against weak defenses. But come November he plays better defenses and plays worse. Look at all the plays for loses he makes cause he’s so lost once his primary receivers are covered. You put him in the pac 10 or the acc he’d dominate.
@danielminton38766 жыл бұрын
It's not his arm it's the speed of his decision making he holds onto the ball too long and has a bad tendency to miss open receivers or not see them. It's not that he can't throw but his consistently as a passer isn't that good.
@tinman70653 жыл бұрын
He has a rocket arm, but he was so confident running the ball he tended to make the first read, then tuck it and take off running to his right. It worked many games, but there were a few critical moments they needed to stretch the field but the defense knew they could roll the dice and flush him out. Phenomenal leader and competitor, though. Class act and great young man all the way.

Alabama D &O lines had a; "more-than-troubling-evening". LSU simply beat us in the trenches, 2-1, if not 3-1 by games end. Good thing Elting panicked intead of extending, and LSU OC let-up on running smashmouth ball. Ever wonder why both starting & first level substitute LB's are out for year? D-line problems. It's usually what happens when LB's & DB's have to step up too many times to make tackles or make pursuits. The D-line is suppose to stop that from happening, even developing. Bama is only major winning-team in country in this predicament-4 starting LBs out..? Look at most LSU run plays; the Bama D-line are blown back 2-3 yards, like the first LSU TD, and many Guise runs. At this rate, shouldn't be surprised if more D-backs get hurt. DB's verses Guise, hmm, wonder who wears down first? Would working on cardio (suicides) after practices help the lines? Highly discouraged by O-line as they never really gelled together in big games like this one and FSU. Really hope necessary changes 'in-the-head' are made by Auburn game. At this level MSST-D might look 'too-good'. Bama D-line is simply lacking consistent intensity in execution. Consistently, there's no; I wanna beat-the-hell out of you...except at times by LSU lines. There is no attitude produced by confidence & dominance like a Keys. Psychologically something is missing this year (same with kick coverage team; gone the de-cleter plays?). The Bama run-game was not established against LSU, anyone asking why? Are we recruiting 4-5 star linemen any more? That does not seem to be present in big games this year. This year in big games, seems like O-line is easily jammed & bundled-up & not able to execute LB blocking assignments, or set up anchor for seams & off tackle run plays. Again those images of last year's OC probs a week before Nat-Champ game. Make no mistake, Auburn, Georgia, and others see our D&O line's level of intensity & preformance in big games, and their game-plan just might favor a smash-mouth run strategy based on trench warfare (where LSU left off), to wear down Bama 'D-backs' (that's a zing; D-line's job to primarily stop run, even in a 3/4)... Can it change by Auburn game, and 'more-than-especially' by any post season game? Don't let any kind of success with MSST and Mercer games convince problem solved. Remember, media doesn't report or even see cohession line problems, they focus on marketing induvidualism, and individualism doesn't win Big Games like SEC & Nat-Champ. It's in big games were the Bama line problem manifest itself. Unfortunately also: the current LB situation, well, uh, afraid that will soon surface, probably sooner than later...

Yup. Jalen played his best game of the year in LSUvAL 2017. The stats show it was one of Jalen's WORST lol. This is due to refs not calling PI's -- but also our own receivers dropping too many GREAT passes from Jalen etc. Had PI's been called and balls that were perfectly placed been caught by Alabama -- Jalen's numbers would have been the best of year. Nonetheless -- even with a bad statline,.. Jalen's performance allowed Alabama to comfortably WIN and 'control' the LSU game as LSU loaded box to stop Bama's run (with 7-8 guys) (more hats ) to force Jalen to throw to beat them. Jalen beat them through the air primarily and that's that :) -- Had Jalen played like he did at end of 2016 -- Bama would have lost the game. This is what teams are going to continue to do.. load box, force Jalen to beat by passing -- Problem this year, esp as Jalen is hitting a new level in his game -- is that plan that was working last year won't work anymore this year. Instead teams will find themselves setting their ownselves up to be shredded apart by over committing bodies to the box (to stop Bama's Run). Then, they'll have to adjust to pull guys out in coverage. Bama will immediately notice and if you don't stack the Box you won't stop Alabama's 6 Deep Run Game with Damien Harris, Bo Scarbrough, Najee Harris, Josh Jacobs, Brian Robinson, Ronnie Clark -- Running down your throat.. Fresh legs of 5 star backs. Insanity. LSU did the best job , imo, of all teams at stopping the run of Alabama. Although Bama's Oline could have played considerably better. Still credit goes to LSU... one of the only teams that can match up hat for hat down the roster Talent wise.
