I totally disagree, Birmingham UK is bigger than Birmingham Alabama the City outlook are fairly similar and a comparison was done by an American of Birmingham UK and Birmingham Alabama and Birmingham UK came tops, plus Birmingham Alabama is named after Birmingham UK.

This problem nearly happened to my family about 15 years ago, we booked a 5 day vacation from our Home City, Birmingham England, Gr Britain's second largest City after London on a direct flight from Birmingham International Airport England on what was then Continental Airlines (now United Airlines) to New York Newark Liberty Airport, after our vacation after going through security at New York Newark Liberty Airport we finally got to the departure lounge and found two departure gates next to one another, both using Continental Airlines planes one going to Birmingham England and the other one going to Birmingham Alabama, needless to say we got the correct flight.

@@TheMoezilla No it seems like they booked the flight to Las Vegas from Birmingham.. So they had to fly to Birmingham, AL to make their flight to Las Vegas. That's what the girl describes and the reporter at the ends says "they made it to Las Vegas". Why they couldn't just cancel the one flight, idk.. Maybe they didn't realize until it was too late to cancel for a refund.

What a great way to score a free vacay. I should play stupid like that episode from Full House when Stephanie (I think) went on the wrong plane and thought she was just flying to Oakland, CA from San Francisco, CA and thought it wasn't bad. And then it turns out the plane was going to Auckland, NZ. LOL. Let me book a trip to Auckland by mistake, and arrive and say, "oooops, I thought I was going to Oakland, CA". Something is fishy about this story.

So 7 years after the fact, I see this. I mean the mind boggles. 1).They want to fly from Birmingham UK. 2). They want to go to Las Vegas USA. The error…. 3). They wrongly book a flight from Birmingham Alabama USA outbound to Las Vegas USA. The error…. 4). They mixed up Birmingham UK, and Birmingham USA when booking the tickets. 5). They then had to book extra tickets to get from Birmingham UK, outbound to Birmingham Alabama USA. 6). How those in Birmingham Alabama brought out the red carpet for this mistake was amazingly kind! 7). If this was the other way around then when the American would have landed in Birmingham UK, firstly she’d be mugged and secondly they would get reminded to wipe their feet when leaving Birmingham UK, that would be the complete hospitality shown. 8). To end up with a chuffing billionaire who contacts you and pays for your trip after having this mix up! Again just good people doing good things. Honestly well done to all involved really. This is how humanity and generosity should be shown in my opinion.
