It’s nice to see how influential a strong supportive mother can be in a child’s life. Najee is lucky to have her. It’s also nice to see the impact that coaches can have in a person’s life. Everyone needs proper guidance but not everyone is lucky enough to get it. This is great journalism right here.

Cant discredit somebody for doing something with they life, I know I damn sure wanted to be where he is but I wasn’t dedicated to it like he was and that’s what separates people like him, he was down bad but instead of getting in his head over it he kept his chin up and powered through, he deserves this spot.

Im from Alabama and ppl was picking at us during the game when Saban put the freshman in. saying he gave up and checking out his talent for next season. Ppl were collecting their money from their bets and everything and to see us comeback and being able to laugh at the ppl making jokes and den ppl picking at us again when Tua got sacked and den having da last laugh on 2nd and 26. Ill never forget that emotional roller coaster. So proud of the guys for never quitting and fighting to the end!

The first lost after he lead the team to the lead in the game and the defense couldn't hold Deshaun Watson and Clemson from scoreing. Now he's the starting QB in Philadelphia. When a lot of Bama fans said he needed to change positions are change careers. That's why he call fans fake. They love you in the good times but can hate you after one fucking play.

I love Najee! As a die-hard Bama fan, I hate that fans get a bad rap. I do understand how he feels, because I’ve even seen fans flip on Coach Saban too. I will say that fans like that are the minority. I hate that he seems to see a lot of fans that way.

Great piece al.com. Thank you Najee for sharing your story with us. Best wishes to you, your family and friends as you move forward. You reflect a lot of your mom and your mentors wisdom. Looking forward to watching you crush it on Sundays now.

Much respect for Najee. Come in to Bama as a young man but left a grown man. A great roll model for the younger generation!
