Everything Iago described in the second verse of the song regarding what he lacked and wanted in a companion - I feel he ultimately got that by siding with Aladdin and his friends.

Iago changed and became a good character, which was something that I didn't expect when I watched this movie for the first time when I was a 4th grader. And now, I have a moral of this movie: If bad people change and become good people, they can be forgiven for their sins.
