Honesttly, a romance novel that starts with a contractual or out of conveniance marriage or engagement then grows into genuine love as couples get to know each other, has actually become one of my favorite genres, as it is resembles real relationship struggles more than anything. It's just hits differently now that I've been married for a while, and when the pink glasses of infatuation fall off, you realize that marriad life and, and your real spouse are different from your idea or fantacy of it. And after your pink fog dissipates, you realize that you actually have to re-learn to love your spose for who they really are. 😊 Alright! Let's begin shall we? I am intrigued!!

How do I avoid AI productions? No ill will - and besides, the people who use AI to make $ will do fine without my patronage. I want to know how to identify audio productions, where I'm listening to a real, living human being.

I'm sorry - I don't know how to answer you. I can just say that none of my books are AI-narrated.

I am firmly convinced that to truly get the best from your delightful stories one must read, and re-read it at least once more. However this is my third listen, and I’m more throughly enchanted with the characters and story than ever. It may have to do with the fact that I did nothing but listen this time. No chores or interruptions got in the way. Just cozied up in my reading corner wrapped in a warm winter throw. I delighted as I toured Paris with Sophie and company. Your description of the fashions of the time helped my imagination the fashions of the time. I don’t think I would have liked the powdered hair and white make up and rouge « a la française » for both women and men. I like the idea of the pretended engagement becoming real as Sophie and Basil secretly fall in love. What a great listen on a cold, and blustery day. There’s snow in the surrounding mountains here but no snow in the valley where we live as yet. How is your weather? Do you get much snow in your part of France? As the holidays approche I’m looking forward to all the Christmas time stories I have to listen to. Thank you Jennie from stories that keep on giving enjoyment long after the first read. Happy holidays to you and yours. Your loyal listener in BC 🇨🇦

That just sounds so lovely. I really miss snow. I grew up with it and I almost never see it now. I'm glad and touched that you enjoy my books enough to listen more than once. :-)
