I don't understand how so many people are finding him charismatic. Yes, he is very physically attractive and I am not disputing that but the way he is answering the questions as if he were emotionless, least bothered by Markovic's murder and distressed by the just recent 48 hour interrogation and is more keen on just putting on a different suitable emotion and body language to match his seductive aura in his movies(which seems to have been very effective judging by the comments) and even lies that Markovic was not his bodyguard does not prove anything but he is a sociopath and probably could and got people murdered

@@brendacastillo8146 You are uninformed. Alain Delon is known behind the scenes of the film industry for being bisexual Several actors and actresses testified that he cheated on his wife and girlfriends with both women and men and he even was lover of the italian director Lucchino Visconti while filming Rocco and his Brothers.
@barbaraaraujo7700 Жыл бұрын
@@brendacastillo8146 Yes, I also think he had a romantic relationship with Stefan Markovich. At least two celebrities outed him explicitly: Austrian actor Helmut Berger and Brazilian actress Norma Bengell, both openly bisexual. Helmut Berger, who was Luchino Visconti's lover, said in his autobiography that Alain Delon was also Luchino Visconti's lover in the early 60's. Norma Bengell narrated in her memoirs, shortly before her death, that she had a brief torrid affair with Alain Delon in 1962, when she was filming the movie "Mafioso" in Sicily and Alain was filming "The Leopard". She said that Alain Delon was very narcissistic and libertine and one day he invaded her hotel room, grabbed her from behind and practically r@p3d her. She said that Delon even asked her to marry him, but she denied it because she said he was very "mulherengo" (Brazilian slang for a man addicted to sleeping with women) and "homemrengo" (someone addicted to sleeping with men). There was also a controversial biography called "The Mysteries of Delon" written by Bernard Violet and released in 2000, which talks about several love affairs of Delon with both sexes, in addition to his friendship with mobsters and politicians with a bad reputation. Delon even went to court to ban this biography, but was unsuccessful.

Delon was "discovered" by David Selznick in Cannes and he offered him to work in Hollywood with the condition he improves his English. He made some movies and his son Antony was born in Los Angeles but, Delon never liked Los Angeles very much, a city so different from beautiful Paris and I totally understand him because I live in L.A. and I do not like it at all. His movies and himself were already a success in Europe at that time, so he decided to return to France. He had his own production company and was making fortunes. He is the most beautiful men ever and, of course, he knows it.

Was he capable of killing a man or getting a man killed? He used to be a soldier in the French army and got dishonorably discharged due to several offenses and did time in military prison. He was abnormally handsome but this isn't the primary reason why he had great presence on film. He didn't play but lived his most memorable characters. He was familiar with their darkness and loneliness. There are two actors whom I always felt fascination and fear for. Kinski and Delon. They happened to be among the best. Kinski might have been clinically insane, Delon might have done horrible things and denied them with the most charming poker face and never got exposed. Both of them went through an awful childhood. Both tried to run away from military service. They were misfits. Delon had a huge advantage: he was a male beauty that provided a cover. Anyway, I wouldn't have gone near to his mistress. Bad move for health.

there was a book written about the markovic affair in french, it was banned in france first because it talked about alain delon's involvement and about pompidou (president of france). it was eventually released in limited copies and i read one of them as my aunt had it. according to that book, stefan markovic was a friend of alain and nathalie but he had a brief fling with nathalie and as a result anthony delon was not alain's son but stefan's. the writer also made some references to how his sources were certain that alain knew about stefan's death and made no attempt to stop it even though he had friends in high places because he didn't want to deal with another paternity scandal (like ari and nico's) and that the president had stefan killed.

They forget that at the age of 17 he went to war for 4 years in Indochina and participated in heavy fighting there. They forget that they are asking this question to a veteran.

He said he thought homosexuality was unnatural. That men should be with women ,not same sex relationships.Hhe was also opposed homosexuals adopting children. There were traditionals views held by the majority of public until it became "trendy " to support homosexual marriages and adoptions.

Sheep reference totally unnecessary. Pretty sickening imo. I don’t care about his personal life. Who his friends were who he got it on with who cares. The questions were stupid. The man was beyond beautiful.

Alain Delon is part of French & even world wide heritage, he is part of us however was not a Saint, and people worship him as god because most of the people lost faith and report there need to artists who are beautiful & talented but are also human being with dark side

Is it me or does he remind me a bit of Ted Bundy? Not in terms of the fact that he’s a serial killer, but his charm, charisma, good looks…speaking voices even kind of sound similar to each other (minus de Leon’s accent of course).

Delon was a 9.7 in his prime or 8.5 here,, while Bundy was a 7 at time of his trial. So no comparison in looks. As for charm, charisma.. Delon has more of that. Only equal thing they shared was probably class.

Unfortunately (Or fortunately, depending on what kind of person you are), he was just being diplomatic, he was pretty overtly homophobic (here's him talking about it, in French though kzbin.info/www/bejne/ooGVpHShh5WEY8k)
@jean-francoisbrunet20315 ай бұрын
He was much older in that second interview and probably much removed from whatever gay experience he might have had in his youth. And I don't think that his answer in 1969 can be called "diplomatic". It would have been diplomatic if he had been asked his opinion on homosexuality by a presumably gay friendly interviewer. But he was asked about his own rumored homosexualityIt by a probably homophobic interviewer, or at least playing to the homophobia of that time. the answer was rather "in your face".
@cristinebowen41165 ай бұрын
@@jean-francoisbrunet2031 I agree with you completely, 1969 wasn't known for being a "politically correct" time. I think what he said was probably MORE controversial at that time. I think as he aged his views became more weird and conservative as often happens with people.
