No female singer has ever sung as Sooryagayathri . Indian government should understand she is The Jewel of India, and her way is to spread all over the world the absolute art of singing. This is a soul who' s singing here ! The "great soul" is singing here. She deserves absolute masters of orchestration . What a sumptuous femininity !

Agreed!!! Alaipayuthey Kanna is one of the most popular traditional songs in Tamil and she nailed the last few lines beautifully. It is so hard to get those lines right; in terms of melody variation, timing, pronunciation, and breath control.

An Outstanding rendition with brilliant gamakams & excellent sangathis that flowed naturally with the lyrics with bhaavam in full measure. Though her Nativity may be Kerala, her crystal clear Thamizh Diction is sweet & commendable. How confident she's been from the beginning (a few years ago) and it has been growing consistently over months after months, year after year and album after album. Thanx a lot to her father, her Mentors Kuldeep Pai and Jayakumar for imparting rigorous training and extracting the best out of her. A God blessed child, let her grow slowly & steadily and enthrall us all for many long decades to come. We are delighted with her level of consistency and confidence and we are sure, she's going to make very big sooner. It's a smart thinking on the part of Mr Jayakumar to let her sing a charaNam without any percussion support while utilizing the Thavil for the Pallavi & Anu Pallavi portions again as an innovative attempt. The beauty of Bharat is we speak different language but culture is 100 % same . There is no difference - Hence we connect with each other very well . Mostly words used are Sanskrith and is meaning is same in all Indian Langaguage.

கானடா ராகத்தில் அமைந்த " அலைபாயுதே" பாடல் எப்போதுமே எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்த பாடலாக இருந்து வருகிறது. பல பாடகிகள் பாடி நான் இந்தப் பாடலைக் கேட்டு மகிழ்ந்து இருக்கிறேன். ஆனால் இந்தப் பாடலை இந்த இளம் வயதில் இவ்வளவு அற்புதமாகப் பாடிய சூரியா காயத்திரிக்கு எனது மனமார்ந்த வாழ்த்துக்கள். பாராட்டுகள். ஆண்டவனின் அருள் பூரணமாக கிடைத்துள்ளது. வாய்ப்பை பயன்படுத்தி பல புகழுடன் சாதித்துக் காட்டவேண்டும்.

Excellent Pronounciation of (classical) Tamil words, although her mother tongue is (beautiful) Malayalam. @ Strumm Spiritual, Thank you for this album - No wonder, you can add "Flute - by Lord Krishna" himself, when you list the names of the Team members composing the song. 😀

Onece while i was in thirumala, i played this song back till the end for a handicapped young man begging on the foot path and found tears often dripping from his eyes. Appuram antha ezhai enkitte sonne, 'intha mathiri oru paattu en vaazhkayile kettathe kedayaathana. En kavalayellanume engkeyo poyitte.
