This mv is depicting the battle of Mactan, the native Filipinos against the Spaniards. The Spaniards indeed were trying to erase the Filipino culture when they occupied the Philippines. In the end the people revolted and unified and this gave birth to the Philippine independence. The 3 stars and the sun signified the Philippine flag.

Yes!! When we were finally free from Spanish rule after almost 300 years, we were then colonized by the US for 50.
