When it comes to unique concepts, Alamat is one of the best. It gives me goosebumps to see how Alamat highlights the fusion of folk and modern. In the MV, dancers performed one of the folk dances, which is the singkil. According to cultural history, this is a very distinctive traditional dance of the Maranao people of the southern Philippines. Originally, Singkil was performed as a ritual for festivals and ceremonial rites of passage by the Maranao prince and princess to define their courtship. As I watch the video, the content is connected to what Singkil means, how the dancers performed it well, and the materials and costumes they used. Overall, the concept is the best. In this MV, we can learn that even if we live in the present, we don't forget to recognize our traditions and culture. I can say ALAMAT is great p-pop, and the way they promote Filipino culture in every song is remarkable! GALINGGGGGG 👏👏👏👏

As a Filipino muslim, myself, I am truly glad our folk dance is being incorporated in PPop. PPop is still growing and we are always one step closer to reach our first milestone, the PPop rise. What I like about ALAMAT and BINI is that these groups never missed their roots, the music that they are releasing are by a Filipino for Filipinos. Despite having one goal, they serve it uniquely, ALAMAT with our history and BINI with women empowerment, pinoy games and folk dance. I love how Maharani, the song, was told. Taneo, the Prince will always save Jhoanna, Maharani, in their Singkil. However, their dance, will always come to an end, hence, the Maharani leaving at the end. Hindi man ikaw ang Lakan ng Lakambini, ikaw ay di parin nagsasawa.

What they did in this MV is "Singkil" It is a Philippines folk dance that is originated by the Maranaos Tribe of Lake Lanao, Mindanao. Singkil performed when there is occassions and usually the female dance it to attract potential suitors and wears heavy rings around her ankles. Together with lead female dancer is her loyal slave who accompanied her through thick and thin. There is also lead male dancer who is holding a shield and sword to determine to rescue the Princess.

Singkil was a very entertaining dance from the Maranao people and based on the MV, it showcased how the dancers gracefully danced it using the props needed. Dig deeper its beyond language it is a fusion of anything cultural when it comes to their songs and MV concept. See thats the only thing you notice on this song (its impossible to be aware with Alamat since we are not knowleadgeable of the cultures they fuse together to produce an art for entertainment) when native instrument sound is added and choreography is based on southern Mindanao dances including martial art and even the feature another native dance.

May potential ang grupong ito. Philippine Artistry and Culture-wise, angat na angat sila. Siguro kailangan talaga nila ng suporta to improve pa more the cinematography and make-up ng boys dahil medyo dry. Dapat flawless pa na parang angelicly wicked. May boses na sila at magagaling ding sumayaw.

I agree po sa lahat ng sinabi mo. in terms of talents talagang gifted yung 6 [they can compose their own songs, mix/produce beats, play diff instruments, choreograph, create graphics/visual arts] kailangan nalang i-polish/improve yung live singing (medyo unstable pa minsan kasi they tend to prioritize dancing when performing). nasa early to mid20s palang naman sila kaya there's a lot of time to improve. Their creative team is great at concepts. pero mahina ang marketing strat ng mngment [one factor i think is budget, they're trying to be cost efficient, pero consequence: mabagal ang usad/konti ang reach]. So far, for mv cinematography, Aswang mv talaga ang angat. Yung makeup ng boys sa Day and Night maputla yung lips🥲medyo nasobrahan naman sa kasmala. sa maharani and gayuma lang nagmatch yung makeup sa concept

Hindi yung mukang Bading, Dance Instructor, or Nitibo. Magagaling silang sumayaw at kumanta. So here’s my story about the PPop groups we have. Honestly, at my age, my taste in music has changed. The first group I really liked was SB19. I followed them closely from the beginning and I’m proud of how far they’ve come. Then, when BGYO came out, I started following them as well, along with BINI. I liked them because I’m a fan of ABS-CBN, so I was happy when ABS-CBN planned to form PPop groups. Up until now, I’m proud of them; they are indeed leading the way in our PPop scene-let’s admit that. After that, many other PPop groups started emerging. To be honest, I liked G22, and I told myself that group would also go far. Recently, I’ve been getting into ALAMAT; I don’t know why, but I’m becoming a bit addicted to them now, haha. So keep up the good work, guys-I’m now one of your fans, and I’m excited about what you’ll achieve in the future. And of course, to those who are in fan wars and feeling jealous, stop fighting. Maharani is by far the best song that Alamat has released. I instantly fell in love with this song the first time I heard it. This will be one of my all time fave songs tbh. Never get tired of listening to it, a total eargasm. What makes this song so good is that the beat and melody is euphoric but underneath, the lyrics is actually sad. Love this line from Taneo's verse - "Sa dami ng katunggali, magpupunyagi, Hanggang sa ako'y magwagi, Ngunit kahit magapi ang pagtingin, Dito pa rin maglalagi". Even though you know that you have little chance to be with this person, you never get tired of loving this person and hoping that someday you will be the one that is chosen. The song just hits right in the feels in so many levels. Love the music video's visuals and the aesthetics of the solo face shots. Great concept and storytelling. What I also love is that they went to a realistic ending which made it even better and very relatable. As not really a fan of PPop before, I tell you, Alamat's discography is soo good that this changed my mind. Hoping that many will also realize and discover Alamat the way I did! Crossing my fingers that this song and mv will catapult Alamat to greatness and the success that they really deserve!!! 🙌🙏✨

With too much loud songs lately, ito yung song na pwede mong pakinggan kapag nagrerelax and nagdadrive ka sa gabi. The lyricism din ay very genius!!
