Mo was inspired by Noli Me Tangere, given the title noli, it is a revolutionary novel made during spanish period in the Philippines. He shared that he wanna depict Ibarra's point of view through the song, how would it feels like to love Maria. The lyricism is top tier though.

Honestly speaking, Alamat has a strong and distinct discography. Listener friendly, inspired lyrics, and easily recognizable that it's by their group. Maharani, Dayang, Day and Night, Dagundong, etc are all extremely underrated and deserve more attention. Keep doing what you're doing boys! Sa ganda ng songs niyo lalaki in time audience!
