there are people here asking if this was the paradise of the nizaris, well yes it once used to be. How stupid can you guys be to think it would still look like paradise after literally being obliterated by the mongols and local and neighbouring empires for its treasure for centuaries. Everything which once made it stand out has been stolen and looted and destroyed like its libraries and ancient assasin tools, nothing remains now so its all ruins. We can only imagine what this fortress could have held which made empires such as the mongols and the seljuks insecure.
