btw pivot animator has an in-between function now! this means that pose-to-pose is a lot easier, but you can still use straight ahead if you want to if you set it to -1 then the last frame won't appear, making loops seamless if you set it to a number from 1 to 80, that will be the amount of tweens for that frame and you can also convert the tweens for a frame to separate frames

First, practice. No one gets it in one day. Second, find a comfy spot. Don't try to animate fights or kicks without first knowing the basics. Finally, make sure you know how to DRAW the poses. It helps if you know how your animation will go, but ugly poses leads to ugly animations. Hope this helps.

In the latest version of flash, there is now a checkbox that toggles the brush size scaling with the zoom or not. EDIT: I'm seeing lag in the brush if I do not turn this on, meaning in order to draw smoothly, I need the brush to be a constant width relative to things instead of relative to my zoom. I guess this is fine for consistency.
