First's and Mix's interactions - both as a couple happily in love, and as they were going through a messy break-up - were so believable. They looked so good together during the first anniversary scene. I believed that this was a real couple in love, and their fights were also so relatable and real. Kudos to both these actors for pulling off such difficult and emotionally laden scenes with such perfection.

I agreee with you. For me especially the 6 min long fighting scene with just the two of them was so so incredibly well acted that I was completely glued to the screen and believed every word and every emotion they both went through. They are really great actors indeed.

Wen really handled the break up badly. The trouble between Alan/Wen relationships was Wen is more like free spirited but tends to harbour whatever he feels inside, not being upfront about it. He’s also the type of going by the flows of things. Alan on the other hand, is a planner. He’s a neat freak, likes things carefully laid and organized and that’s understandable since as a banker, planning and organizing is pretty much in his nature. When Wen met Jim, he felt like Jim is his kindred spirit. They have similar traits, living for the moment, wanting to be free, not doing things by the textbooks. But I applaud Alan because he tried his best to talk things out with Wen but well, when love is no longer there and the other party has moved on, it’s just pointless. So, breaking up is the only answer no matter how shitty and painful it is. Gaipa, he has so much love to give. A soft, tender hearted soul. For all the love and cares he has given to the people around him selflessly, he deserves to receive all the love back in tenfold! He lost both his parents and no boyfriend in sight.I truly think that Alan will fill that void. Alan will take care of him. Gaipa does not need to try so hard to fix things alone cause Alan will be the there to help him. Both wounded souls will heal each other. Let’s toast to their new chapter! 🥂

Oh... right, after pointing it out I realized that gaipa was also similar to alan in some ways, like for example he'd help out on organizing and reminding uncle jim about which bills to pay etc etc with that one scene with his sticky notes. Leng has my eternal gratitude for saying out aloud what all of us Alan and Gaipa lovers were dearly hoping for. I adore First and I its uncanny how much I related to Alan, his character. HIs heartbreak, his pain, his tears, his hurt, his hoping against hope, and finally his healing, all seemed mine. Loved everything about the show. I only wish Alan and Gaipa had more screentime.

I get that there is no nice way to break up but It still makes me so mad at Wen. I wasnt able to cheer for him because i felt like he used Alan's feelings and when he found a better option, he just went away. Is loyalty nothing? I get it that this was best but Uggghhh I have complicated feelings towards it. It was just too bitter. It made me unable to enjoy the series. Perhaps since Im a die hard fan of First and Khaotung

Because of this 2, i've lost my interest from watching this series. I was expecting much more from this couple. And to my relief, these two characters were not third wheel but other two main characters were not perfect to follow. I'm not talking about Earth and Mix, i'm talking about the characters Jim and Wen. How can these two characters be the lead? Specially wen character, he didn't have the guts to speak up the truth and what a lame excuse he was giving as a reason of break up. I thought as a support characters Alan and Kaipa will be morally weak. But the main characters are much more unethical. At the end First and Khao didn't disappoint me.
