Alan Haynes' interest in the blues began a scant 4 years after he began playing guitar at the age of 8. Another four years after that he decided to fully dedicate himself to the genre.

Got introduced to Alan a few weeks ago with a mutual friend. I was blown away...I'm not even a "blues guy""...but his musicality transcends genre. Doesn't get better than this.

Alan is a virtuoso and Texas treasure. Same can be said of Jackie Newhouse, a bass master, who as a teenager sat in with the likes of Freddie King, Lightnin' Hopkins, UP Wilson and Ray Sharpe. He was the original bassman for Robert Ealey & The Five Careless Lovers, and Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble. Jason Corbiere's drumming speakers for itself. He can channel Mitch Mitchell at will. Thanks for posting this!

Started listening to Alan back in the early 80s Sixth Street Austin and he never disappoints always a good show.

I used to see Alan play when he fronted the Texas Boogie Band in the late 70’s. All the time. Phenomenal talent, and literally the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. My gateway to all the guitar greats . So good to see he’s still got it !
