A traditionalist in his musical approach, Jackson became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 1991, and he acknowledged his roots in 1999 on "Under the Influence", an album featuring his interpretations of songs by artists such as Merle Haggard, Charley Pride, and Gene Watson. Jackson also recorded with George Jones, George Strait, Randy Travis, and Jimmy Buffett, among others.

Unfortunately, we don't have in Europe that kind of "real songs" telling "real life stories"... Alan is one of my favourite Country singers, he's always just and tell perfectly what life is, could be or should be... One song of AJ per day, in the mood always !
@RonaldBread6 жыл бұрын
And sadly my friend we have lost "Real" music here in The US also with today's artists singing about trivial matters on life. Thankfully we still have music from back in the day

Had a lifetime of struggles. Had P.T.S.D. before I entered the Marine Corps in 1984. Really lived a life like you see in the movies. Lifelong Florida resident. Finally moved to the Ozark Mountains and found some piece. Music sounds better way out in the boonies love Alan Jackson. Semper Fi. AMERICA! TRUMP / VANCE 2024 AND BEYOND.
