Alan Jackson is the worlds best country singer after George Jones. He can sing a song that would tear your heartr right out and that song you don’t have to love me anymore. Tore my heart apart! There wasn’t a song in the world that George Jones couldn’t sing to make you listen to it over and over, Alan Jackson is the same way I can listen to his songs over and over and over again ,mind you I loved Merle Haggard Conway Twitty. There was so many country ,real country singers that I loved .Buck Owens was another one,and I love Dwight Yoakam , I love George strait but when you come down to who is the king of country since George Jones passed away,it’s Alan Jackson long may he reign and I pray that he is physically able to continue singing. I know he has a medical problem, and I pray that he is healed, trust me in my heart I love this man singing or not. I love him. another great country singer that didn’t get played like it should have is Ricky Van Shelton pull up on KZbin and listen to somebody lied, to me, that’s one of the best, but all his songs were great from a Jack to a King, and if you don’t mind listening to one of the Dukes of Hazzard boys sing John Snyder listen to some of his older songs back in his younger days when he just thought he was going to be a singer he was wonderful I don’t ever forget Travis Tritt another amazing country singer that didn’t get airtime from the country radio. He still had number one hits. They still wouldn’t play his music don’t know why but some of the radio stations think that they control who becomes a star and who isn’t and in that case they were controlling and I think today they still are controlling it, and I know that Morgan Whelan is not a country singer to me, but they sure didn’t stop him from becoming a superstar could they? Just goes to show you what the people can do when they want to.!!‼️🩵🩵🩵😇😇😇 3:42

My favorite Alan Jackson song, hands down. I don't understand why this song didn't chart better than it did. This song is beautiful, simple, and it's simplicity is part of its beauty. It is a stunning tune that belongs in the company of all time country classics. Truly a gem.
@violetmiller99997 жыл бұрын
Timo, it didn't chart better because of the crap they CALL country music these days! This is one of his best songs EVER! Every time I hear it again it gets better and better. Than you, Alan, for keeping it country.
@neitajames60296 жыл бұрын
Country music isn't country anymore once you get a certain age they stop playing your music, cmt changed,gac changed if I want here classic there's two channels on TV I had ask for it of course it wasn't free. I got all his CDs..these young people they trying to attract. They don't know nothing about heartache and pain, its easy to get into shame same people that put the Beverly hillbillies on TV their off spring came Nashville and killed country music, if you young good looking that's what they want till you get 40 then they toss you out.I liked son Williams and the older ones like George Jones they gone now Alan's pretty much all we got..

Alan Jackson is surely one of the best country singers . He sings each song with true feelings and emotion. I listen to him most days , and there isn’t one song he sings I dislike. Many of his songs are from his childhood and past , and memories are certainly precious to him, as they are to me too. Carry on writing your touching songs Alan .

I've taken this role of the bad guy in every breakup I've ever been in. I feel this song on a very personal level. You try to give a woman the moon and stars, but they still have other things on their mind. I guess I'll take that black eye. Now I've got me a keeper who turns away the moon and stars because she'd rather just have my love. Happy guy now! Three years and still happy as day 1!
