I adored him as an actor long before Harry Potter. I had seen this movie before I ever saw Harry Potter. I can never imagine anyone ever being more perfectly cast in any of his movies. He was the perfect Hans Gruber, the perfect Sheriff of Nottingham, the perfect Colonel Brandon and yes, the perfect Professor Snape. RIP to both Alan Rickman and Natasha Richardson.

All I have to say is.....GOD DAMN! HE WAS SO FN HANDSOME! Those eyes, that smile and.....THAT VOICE! OMG! He could read the PHONE BOOK to me and I would just MELT just listening to him! *Sigh* I am a huge Mel Gibson fan but Alan Rickman just makes me MELT! RIP BEAUTIFUL 🌹

I don’t know why I found him particularly sexy in this- he’s a little grumpy and surly (which I love), but his heart is so pure. Plus I love his tattooed feet, his amazing hands, and just the control and confidence he has when he’s cutting the hair. Such an obscure role for Alan Rickman, but it’s actually one of my favorites.

I LOVE this movie and they just took it off Netflix. I want to buy it but for some reason it is very expensive. Alan Rickman was a fantastic actor and if he'd stand and fart for 2 hours in a movie I'd go see it! Love him forever and always. I still cry when I watch him. What a man! Thank you so much for this!

It's on VUDU.com for $7.99, HDX version. I own the SD version on VUDU for only $5.99. You would end up owning it online rather than the DVD which; I agree, when you go looking for it, is usually expensive. VUDU is a free online movie website; your just paying to either rent or own the movies.
