What's your secret Alan? Simulator? Started with smaller models to develop basic maneuvers, or did it just come naturally to you?? I just can't fathom the control you and other heli pilots have developed. I have been out of the hobby for 18 years, and got reinterested when my daughter and son in law got me one of those little sport copters. I started searching the vids and subsrcibed to you channel. Absolutely breathtaking. ;)

Awesome flying, Just crashed mt 600 N hard on Saturday, I am definitely getting better, but I wish that I was at a level close to where you are. But I guess you have to crash every once in a while to get better. I just wish I had Align paying the bill for repairs, or better yet, just give me a new one. Must be nice. As far as pilots go, you are killer!

No. Pilots couldn't take the G-forces, and neither could the helis. When you scale anything up you have to take into account the square-cube law (basically how surface area increases more slowly than volume, as you increase a shape proportionally). This means there is generally a practical limit to how big things can be, because the law affects how lift increases versus weight, energy usage versus cooling area and so on. It's the reason you can bounce a microcopter off a wall and have it none the worse for wear, but give a 900-class heli much more than a hard landing and you're replacing parts left right and centre,
