@El Mostrito well techincally it's the collective pitch system which does all the cool stuff, and it only changes the angle (of attack) of the blades so it's just a bunch of servos, they don't use up much energy. The main motor spins at 100% allt the time tho

I used to fly ~10 years ago. And we had flybars then. Szabo was always a champion. I moved on and I am surprised they still fly. It's too stressful and takes a lot of enthusiasm and faith, work, time and money. Total money hog. But it was fun and pushed me outside and jump started some social life.

I thought quadcopters were maneuverable. 3D capable motors esc's and props helps close the gap, but this has only recently even become available to us who fly FPV. The heli's reign supreme and will surely remove your appendages if you're not paying attention! Maybe one day I will try too. Right now I'm still stuck on quads. That really was a shocking display of talent. Almost vulgar in presentation, barren of any shame or reluctance to get in yo face and go brrrrt! I could skip coffee in the morning if I had one!
