Love that hollow is playing this. Game is a masterpiece so far, no joke. Bout 5 hours in and I’m absolutely overwhelmingly mind blown by the puzzles, graphics, audio, story, instantaneous switching to one place to another, etc, etc, etc. I could go on and on but if you’re not playing this you are absolutely missing out, and please do your self a favor and buy this. I never say that about a game but this one I absolutely will!

Looks great, certainly. It sucks there is no physical though. I’ll wait until it’s in discount for digital. Luckily, there’s a lot of masterpieces this year I’ve yet to play which also have physical versions. It’s been a great year for gaming. This is exactly my style of game. Survival horror with a great story. Gameplay feels similar to RE games which I love. This is next gen gaming.. absolutely gorgeous!

It really is a seriously impressive game. Apart from The Last of Us, it immediately became one of my favourite games. The graphics, the detail, the story, the fact they've merged it with actual footage too, it all just makes this fantastic game. I love the fact you have 2 different stories, but that relate to each other. Wow. It's just a shame they made it digital only, I understand why. However, I feel if there was a disc version, a lot more people would have played it.

Not specifically him. Alex Casey written in Alan Wake's novels is a parallel to Max Payne. Not the same person but a variant from a different universe. Dillan Faden described it as one of his dreams in Control. He said a man named Mr. Door explained it to him; in one world a writer wrote books about a cop and in the other, the cop is real. Then he offered to spread the Hiss to these other worlds and Mr. Door didn't like it

Oh man just got up to like chapter 2 to 3 and the game is sooo good. Usually I hate collecting stuff in games and get bogged down by the lore, but everything in this game is essential. Also enjoying Saga’s character. The actress did a good job. Enjoying her dynamic with Alex Casey. I finally made it to Alan’s part and it’s just getting even better

For me what happened was I got too far at Saga’s section where it felt like a chore doing Alan’s section since you were basically playing catch up, but if you swap characters per chapter it then feels a little bit better during my second run

4090 can handle it. Im playin on 1600p ultrawide with everything maxed, ray tracing, path tracing, DLSS frame generation on and am getting about 100-120 FPS. 4K you probably get 80-90 . Still very demanding game to run looks incredible though

The yellow arrows always lead to Words of power upgrades .So make sure you pay attention to where the arrows are pointing. Sometimes an arrow will point to another arrow. But dnt give up, it always leads you to the words of power, so look around carefully. Also to activate the words of power you don’t need to super charge you flashlight, and waste batteries. You can just point your light at it for a couple seconds and their will be a faint audio and visual effect, then you’ll be good to upgrade. But if u die before saving at a safe point you’ll have to go back and do it all over .

Shawn Ashmore, who plays Sheriff Tim Breaker, previously played the lead role in 'Quantum Break', Jack Joyce. While 'Quantum Break' was made by Remedy Games, it's owned by a different developer and therefore isn't part of the Remedy Connected Universe. However, the addition of Shawn Ashmore and a few other people makes a spiritual connection. The IP for 'Max Payne', also developed by Remedy, was sold to Universal, so it can't be included either, but the voice actor for Max Payne, James McCaffrey, voices Alex Casey, and it's implied that the Alex Casey in Alan Wake's books is another version of Max Payne.
