I like to listen to Alan Watts before I go to bed. His voice calms me and helps me drift off to sleep.

Concept of anatta in Buddhism came because there was already atman and brahman terminology in Hinduism. What budhha pointed out was to have an experience of exactly what brahman is instead of beleiving in existence of brahman. So this implies Hinduism is older than Buddhism, though the destination is same but the path taken is different
@jayanthl70002 ай бұрын
What happens after nirvana nobody knows as Buddha said it's indescribable and beyond the notion of life and death Same way brahman can never be understood and nobody knows what exactly is brahman unless they experience it. The word brahman is just a pointer to that indescribable whatever it is. If you believe in brahman then you already lost the track and deluded but if you experience brahman instead of understanding or believing it you know everything.
