I have heard this whole lecture before. I came again to hear this part about "not putting the devil on notice" so-to-speak.....seems there is almost no clear answer hear. desiring not to desire once again, not being able to escape my impulses again, tired of the merry go round again.....i leave with this, the human war is the war against itself. we want out of the pitfalls and traps. We want to escape the mondain way of living, thee common template of existence. we don't understand the big plan, yet most of us feel there is one, but for the life of us we will never know a true purpose this side of the grave. and that is not to be intentionally grim....i want to escape my impurities. I do what i can on the most subtle of level possible in my subconscious, so that i can act without acting.......so then i will just say, I love Alan Watts!!!

I think the answer is clear enough. It is difficult because of our fear. To be PRESENT, no thoughts just spontaneous action. We can do it only if we are present ❤️🙏

Essentially he's saying be virtually non-conscious of our acts (carry them out virtually simultaneously with intention), as so they'll be virtually not registered in memory (won't be inherited in our future rebirths). Well. I've got issues with that: the unconscious does exist and does register intention before it becomes conscious.

Good point. The point here is putting the pre meditation to mimimum. Thereby any work instantaneously has almost no intention
