Alan Watts is great. But after listening to him for over 20 years, I realize he was wrong about a few things. For example. If you believe you are in a constant state of dying and falling apart. Than that will be your experience. If you believe you are in a state of constant rejuvenation and always getting younger, than that will be your experience. I have decided 20 years ago, that I dont belive in getting old and I am always getting younger. So now at 58, I look 35. According to a 15 YO kid, whom I have asked recently.

I only have one comment in regards to Jesus, his belief in gnosticism and why the Christian church didn't conform, i think for 2 reasons. The first is its patriachal and they didnt regard Sophia as the feminine devine spirit of the Godhead. That changes the entire Trinity from the Godhead, Sophia and the demiurge to the father the sun and the holy ghost. It negates duality and gender which is necessary for life itself or creation. The 2nd reason being that it wasnt conducive to creating a community in the church and sprituality was frowned upon. I dont think they understood being a part of the One and spirituality. When Jesus said lift a stone and i am there in regards to God its antithetical to creating a church of worship. you dont need a physical building to worship him. And thus no church, no community and so no money could be generated to support the institution. In the Pistousophia its almost like its a story about Mary Magdalene and her troubled relationship with the other apostles who never understood why Jesus held her in high, or higher regard. And so the apostles after Jesus' death created a church (the Vatican) from the broken Roman empire, reintegrated people to gain back wealth, and cast Mary aside as a prostitute and didnt regard her for who she actually was - the other half of creation and Jesus' legacy.
