I was asleep when listening to this and suddenly found myself in a living aware conscious dream state.; I realized that we are apart of the universe , I saw a turtle in the near my foot emerging out of sand. In my mind I felt like the rythem of Allen’s voice had brought me on the same wavelength of his mind, I was just meditating and then I was aware of what he was saying. I was captivated by his words and put into a trance. This is a first for me.

I was cooking meet on the fire today, wind blowing through hair, my earthly father next to me, and I realized even more my relationship with this planet and its inhabitants, there were 3 or 4 birds pirched on electric wires, i went into a trance with the meat cooking and music playing, they watched, they talked, and then they parted ways, i reflected, than processed, and also parted ways❤

I thought the Voice and pause’s too, are altered someway.. but it also could be the recording. And or maybe salvaged recordings? Also a few times the flow, like it was a nice flowing stream, and then it seemed to, “ pop,” into another stream. And that’s also generally non Alan Typical.
@jamesgray98922 күн бұрын
However, altered or not. Still Alan, still his Heart and Verbiage. He would probably laugh if someone chopped up all his recordings and said, “ Here ya go, have a ball!” Thank you for putting it out Here

@@Cosmi-Bear5555I feel the same way and yet happened to be reading your comment at the part when Watts is saying how when we build a raft to cross a river, some of us can’t help but take the raft with us. @@iiLivingMeme I think I may relate to an extent. Just beginning to build my own self worth, despite having listened to AW and many of the other 20th century gurus and discovering my own yogic practices... Life is full of challenges and hardships, but without the rough parts of the river, it would be hard to appreciate the smooth currents. AW may have had an easier life than some, but through his travels and exposure to so many different variations of culture, combined with his mastery of communication, his words can be comprehensible regardless of where you come from and where you are now. Find lessons applicable to your situation, discover what makes you passionate, and tackle life head on.
